No. We see patients at every stage of their cancer journey – from preventative screening, risk assessment and genetic testing, to survivor follow-ups.

Yes, we are happy to see you and help with any questions you have regarding your cancer. We would love to have your oncologic specialist involved to provide details that may have recently changed or you may not have access to.

No. While many patients come to us through referrals, you do not need one to book an appointment.

Our practice’s emphasis is on:

  • Breast disease (benign or malignant)
  • Skin cancers (especially melanoma and other skin and soft tissue cancers, or sarcomas)
  • Thyroid and parathyroid disease (especially thyroid cancers)


We also diagnose and assist with:

  • Lymphomas
  • GI malignancies
  • Lung cancer
  • Other conditions


We also do proactive genetic testing as a means of identifying risk, screening, and preventing.

Unlike most oncology practices, we are your lifelong home base for cancer care. From screening and diagnosis, to oncologic and reconstructive surgery, to surveillance after treatment is done, your full cancer journey will unfold in the same trusted set of hands. We want to see you often and promptly if any new issues arise to catch any new problem early.

Call our office at 903-572-9050 to speak with our team. All of our team members are trusted, experienced, and will be able to help you determine the best course of action. All your calls and concerns are handled with the utmost courtesy and confidentiality.

Please provide us with as many of the following records as possible:

  • Medical history from your doctors
  • Family health history
  • List of medications
  • X-ray reports


Our office staff will determine if you require any X-rays for your visit, such as mammograms or ultrasounds. Our staff will also help you navigate your insurance status and needs.

In addition to the documents listed above, we ask that you bring:

  • A valid ID and insurance card
  • If possible, invite a valued companion that can help you navigate discussions about treatment
  • It can be helpful to bring a calendar or notebook to record all future testing and appointments. Don’t worry – we will help you stay organized.

 

Your doctor and team of specialists will take time to listen to you, look over your medical history, and assess any tests you may have available. We will determine your next steps together and begin taking the ones we can, organizing for the best timing and expediency.

Pricing & Insurance

All insurance covers a surgical oncology consultation, as well as a consultation for cancer-related reconstruction. Please provide your insurance information when you speak to our office staff to set up an appointment.

Because coverage and cost varies per policy and insurance carrier, please call our office staff at 903-572-9050 to discuss the specifics of your insurance policy. We have self-pay options, as well.

Yes. We accept all forms of insurance, including Medicare.
